Cocoa Nib Brittle
Think peanut brittle with cocoa nibs instead of peanuts.
Our nib brittle is hand made using a 100+ year old copper kettle. Cocoa nibs are added at just the right time when the brittle is almost ready, infusing rich cocoa goodness throughout. Each batch can take up to an hour or more to prepare and requires constant TLC. There are probably easier ways to make brittle but something about this vintage approach just feels right, and tastes pretty good as well.
Our Fall 2023 cocoa nib brittle is made using a blend of raw Oko Caribe, Dominican Republic nibs and raw O'Payo, Nicaragua nibs. Raw cocoa nibs cook along with the brittle, infusing cocoa goodness throughout.
