ABOCFA is one of four Organic/Fair Trade farmer cooperatives in Ghana - known for producing the highest quality traceable cacao in the region. Our light roast highlights the natural acidity of this cacao uncovering a sweetness reminiscent of fig jam. Next, the chocolate is heated, mixed and aerated, this is conching. Our subtle conche step slightly mellows the cacao’s natural acidity resulting in chocolate with balanced, complex flavors.
